Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
warrants
Mountain View police say I have a misdemeanor warrant since 9/12/2000, I just went through a nation wide seach to be a security guard and was cleared. Is the state right or the police?

Re: warrants
I don't know. You should either check with the Mountain View and get the warrant issue resovled or retain an attorney to help you. If you do nothing there is the possibility of your being arrested when the police stop a vehicle you are riding in is stopped by the police. It may well be that the warrant was not put into the state system by the Mountain View police department.
