Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
last week i was sited , just given a ticket, for pc 272 i have to appear in court nov. 1 2011. i will be pleading not guilty anf this is my first court appearance on this matter . will they put me in jail? will i have to post bail?

As long as you make your scheduled court appearance and assuming the charges don't get worse, then you should probably remain out of custody without having to post bail.
Your best bet is to contact a local criminal defense attorney that routinely practices in the court where your case is and discuss it with them. That attorney should be able to appear on your behalf and you may not have to go to court.
