Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
my wife has been texting a16yr old boy hundreds of times a day. i strongly suspect these textes are not inocent.ive questioned her about this an she became very upset and defensive.our marriage is falling apart because of this. is she commiting a crime if my suspitions are correct

Texting alone is not illegal. If you suspect that she is having sexual intercourse with the 16 year old boy, then yes, she is committing statutory rape, if your suspicions are true.
