Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

When it comes to a Wishold, i do not understand the Warrant part and what happens. If my friend pays the bail price for it, will they be released? Or is he going to have to pay the time for the wishold and his current case? some one please help!

It means that your "friend" that is in jail is not being competely honest with you. Not only are they being held in jail on one charge, but they also have a warrant issued for another matter. Paying bail for the current charge is not going to result in their release. It also means that they are a flight risk.

I advise you not to pay a bail bondsman at this time. You want to find out what the warrant is for.
