Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I was a witness to an ADW case. I saw my ex with the weapon after the incident but didn't see him actually use it. The police never questioned me about the weapon. Do I need to call the DA and let them know that I saw him with the weapon. I don't want to get in trouble for withholding information.

As the witness to a crime, you do not have a duty to seek out the police and provide information.
It would be a different story if you lied to the police, or did something to help your husband avoid being captured or arrested. Those are both crimes.
