wondering what happens when you are discharged from pc 1000

It depends on the underlying facts of the case you were put into PC 1000 for and the reasons you were kicked out.

In some instances, I've been able to get people reinstated into PC 1000, but in others, you cannot get a second chance. If it is strictly a drug offense, your next step is most likely PC 1210 (Prop 36), which is similar, but involves being sentenced and put on probation. Ultimately, if you complete the program successfully, you can get the case dismissed, but it's a more rigorous procedure.

Talk to your attorney that represented you on your original plea, or if you don't have one, it may be worth it to discuss your case with a local criminal defense attorney to check out your options. Like I said, it depends on the facts of your case. If Prop 36 is not available to you, your attorney should know what other choices you have.
