Re: work theft

You should retain an attorney and arrange to self surrender. This will avoid the embarrassment of being arrested. Often you can arrange to be released on OR if you self surrender. The alternative is to do nothing and at some time in the future you will be arrested. This most often occurrs at a traffic stop for a minor violation, tail light out etc. You would then be arrested and taken to jail. If you have moved to another county, the county that issued the arrest warrant would have to come and pick you up. This would result in another delay of up to two weeks, before you would be arraigned and bail set.
