Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Wrong code cited on ticket

`On the bicycle ticket I got, the cop wrote the wrong VC number, 21201(a)instead of 21201(e), which should be enough to beat the charge, but I'm wondering if I need to cite a specific statute in order to have it dismissed. Also, the cop gave me the ticket, instead of a warning, only because I didn't ''kiss his rear end'' while interrogating me...Any advice on how to deal with such a future situation? After cited, I said, ''I hope you're proud of yourself for extorting someone tonight,'' which he did not deny. Finally, the fine amount is $77, which I believe is unconstitutional--how would I prove this?

Thanks, in advance, for your help!!

Re: Wrong code cited on ticket

The wrong code being cited isn't going to get the matter dismissed. Learn to speak to everyone politely. You'll get more warnings and fewer tickets. Everyone likes polite people. And even the cops treat them better.
