kiss with minor.

hello.

I'm very worried about what I did a few days ago.

somehow i got into school late so

I'm 19years old but I'm a snior at high school.

I wen to school dance and I danced with one girl, she wanted me to kiss her so I kissed her twice very shortly.(less than 5 secounds)

I didn't know she was freshman.

After I asked her what grade she was in and she told me that she was a freashman( I'm not sure how old she is but she is minor) I knew I made a mistake and I stoped daning with her. one of her friend came up to me and asked me what was I thinking. And I told her friend that I didn't know and I was sorry.

I really didn't mean to do it. I'm going to graudate next month...

I feel very bad about what I did and I can't forget about it. It gives me a headache all day.

please help me with this.

Can they file on me?

It sounds as if you're a responsible young man, and you shouldn't worry about this. While sexual relations or other sexual conduct (exchanging nude pictures, for example) between a 19 year old and someone under the age of 18 is illegal, kissing or dancing with a minor in that setting wouldn't be in that category. Under the circumstances you described, most people wouldn't consider your actions particularly inappropriate.

I assume there was adult supervision at this school dance and if the chaperones had thought there was anything wrong, they would have told you. For the girl's friend to come up and make a comment to you like that may have been unsettling, but you don't owe anyone an apology.

It is to your credit that you asked this girl what grade she was in, made the decision that she was too young for you, and took yourself out of the situation. You probably realize that there are girls out there who make false claims, so it is best to avoid any appearance of impropriety.
