Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

Paying loan to an individual and is posting things online

If I am paying a loan to a particular person but on myspace she talks about me and says hateful things.

What can I do? Can I refuse to pay unless the things are taken offline? It is a written agreement to pay. Thank you

Probably not as to paying, but you can file an action of slander if she says things that are not true.

My best advice is to retain an attorney to write her a "cease and desist" letter which usually works more often than not.
