Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

Unfair admission charge for children

My wife, son (at the time, 10 months old) and I, attended a non-profit quilt show, to which we travelled a fair distance to attend, were promptly told we 'had' to pay the same admission price for our 10 month son, as adults. I don't even have to pay for an airline ticket until he's TWO !!!

This seems very unfair. Even the president of the society was there and could not do anything about it. I screemed at these people. We left obviously; we weren't going to be treated in such a degrading act.

My wife loves quilts, but this humiliating incident has obviously made her change her mind of the 'kind' of people in this industry. We were both distraught.

Is this even legal ??

Thank you.

It might not be very good PR but it is legal.
