The order should state when it ends. That your parents went to the extreme of gettling a restraining Order and that a Judge granted it means there must be somethilng wrong with your relationship with your boyfriend. At your age, most young women feel their parents are normally wrong, interferring, dedicated to make you unhappy, etc. But they are the same people who raised you over almost 18 years and feel as though they need to protect you, I do not know the facts of your situation, but in the long run your parents ar more important then your current boyfriend. It is much more likely than not that at some point within the next year or two youwill break up; both of you will mature and change, and what you feel you share now will not be what you want then.

You probably need to speak to a somewhat older woman who you trust to help sort out what you should do. Remember that if you are having sex wlith him, your parents can have him arrested for statutory rape, even though you consent to the activity. So you must be very careful as to what you do.

In their life, all people go through situations in which it is unclear what they should do. But most people are able to make a reasonable decision, perhaps not the best one. Good luck to you.,
