Legal Question in DUI Law in California

1988 d.U.I.

In 1988 I got a D.U.I. I never completed the D.U.I. program (school) but paid my fines. Do I have to complete this in order to have my license reinstated, or would this have been deleted from my record.

Theoretically you should not get a break just for waiting 15 years. But sometimes it happens.
