2nd dui criminal case ''no charges filed''

my lawyer got the DA to not file any charges against me but the dmv still filed charges against me. my lawyer or myself never went to the dmv hearing because he thought i would lose the fight and he would save me some money by not going. how can i try to fight this?

Send a letter to the DMV explaining why you didn't attend the hearing and ask for a new hearing. There's a chance they will give you an opportunity to have a second chance at a hearing.
