Calfornia Vechile Code

According to Section 23229 of the calfornia vechile code a person in a bus is legaly allowed to comsume alcohol. My Fraternal organaztion Sigma Chi was planning on Buying a Bus for trips and outings. Can the passangers in the Bus drink alohol if they are over 21, On calfornia highways and streets?

Ca VC states under 23229 that the passengers in a bus, taxi or limo "for hire" can drink. I suggest you hire a driver every time you use the bus. As your legal advisor, I suggest you have me travel with you to be sure you are in compliance with the laws whenever you use the bus-Martin
