Legal Question in DUI Law in California

I Called the DA office, case still under review?

I have a few questions that have to do with a situation I am going through right now. Does it look bad or make me look guilty on my case if I keep checking with the DAs Office everyday regarding my CASE REVIEW status to charge me or not? Also, when is the latest my case review status to charge me or drop the charges can be turned in or decided? My court date on the pink copy of my Ticket says I must appear in front of the judge on or before 02/02/07 so it is almost here and if they charge me with a DUI I will need an attorney. What do you recommend I do? Will they give me enough time after the case review to go out and get a lawyer or can they wait unit the appearance day to charge me? (My blood/Alcohol was 0.06%)

Thank you so much for you time.

I handle many DUI issues. Due to the sensitive nature of the criminal charge, I would prefer to talk with you regarding these charges. I would be happy to try to answer your questions at your earliest convenience.

Calling the DA's office every day to remind them of your existence is wack-o. I have great difficulty believing that your post is for real or that anybody sane and sober would act in such a manner. Soon the DA's office will clearly demonstrate that they know your name. Consult a lawyer in person before then..
