Legal Question in DUI Law in California

I did not know that i can't drive in California with an out-of-state driver license while living in California. I just moved to california 2 month before I got caught driving with my out-of-state license and the gave me a ticket, and tow my car which I bought from the state I just moved from.

You didn't really ask a question, but you are responsible for knowing the law in states where you drive.

You are required to get a California license within ten days of moving to the state.

If you get a California license before your court date, there is a substantial chance the judge will reduce the fines or even dismiss the case.
