Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Getting a DUI charge lessened??

I am 20 and recieved a DUI charge. I was never pulled over, i was in my car parked on the side of the road and a cop came up to me saying my ''license plate light was out'' then asked me if i had been drinking. I got scared and said ''yes''. My BAC was only .06 Is there any way to get the DUI lessened to maybe some case of underage drinking??? Please help me
