Legal Question in DUI Law in California

my DUI

I have this problem because I got pulled over four months ago, and still have not got a hearing. I called right after and they said it was a DUI, but I have not heard anything, and my parents think I should fight that it has taken this long. I was not drinking, and it feels like it detected when I blew my mouth wash or my medicine, because the machine kept changing the numbers. I got to drive home, and with the two people and everything still in the car. My friends that have gotten a DUI two months after me, already got their hearing and have a DUI. I am wondering what I should do, or if I can do anything?

You have two choices: 1. Contact the DA and ask what they intend to do about your case, this will bring your case to their attention. 2. Just wait and see what happens. It may be that your case has fallen into a crack and is lost. If you do not call attention to your case it may stay lost.
