The mandatory minimum on a second offense within 7 years is 2 days jail, an extended DUI school (18 months in California, but a shorter comparable program can be substituted if you live in another state), a fine of around $1400-1600 and 3 years probation. This is the minimum, of course, and can vary from court to court and depending upon your attorney. In addition, the DMV will suspend your license for one year.
