A friend looking for attorney to ask because he had A DUI case but when he went to court they said there were no case and its been more than 72 hours since then. Is there a time limit for them to file the case if there is will there be a chance of it being dismissed?

That initial time frame is for them to file charges or release him from custody. The statute if limitations is howling they have to file - it can be up to a year for a misdemeanor DUI.
