IID Installation

Installation of an Ignition Interlock Device was part of my sentencing last year and I will be getting my license back in May 05. Is it possible to go back to the judge and try to get appeal that aspect of my sentence. I need to rent cars in various cities as I travel for work and this restriction on my license does not allow me to do that.

Will a judge ever remove this restriction under any circumstances?

You have nothing to lose by going to the judge and asking. Your greater problem is the rent-a-car companies. Their computers know all about your situation. My best guess is you will wind up taking the bus.
