Legal Question in DUI Law in California

I have a judgment in California to attend a 9 month "residential rehab". First, how likely is it that the residential rehab will allow me to leave before the 9 months and considers it the full time (I hear that happens due to overcrowding), "residential rehab" can mean anything from outpatient to inpatient each treatment center I have researched considers it different if the only thing it says on my judgment is "residential rehab" can the court later demand that I attend inpatient and what if I can't afford it?

To me residential means inpatient and 9 months means 9 months. Generally, the court, or in some cases the probation department, has to approve of the programs prior to the commencement of the programs. Sometimes the court will approve a program phase one of which is inpatient and phase two of which is outpatient aftercare. If you are on formal probation you should check with your probation officer. If not check with your lawyer.
