Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Los Angeles County, my boyfriend was arrested for an a warrant he had for failure to appear in court for follow up of his dui. He was unaware he had a date to appear in court. He has completed everything that was asked of him by the court but just never showed up to court to prove it. Now is is in jail awaiting to go to court. what are the chances the judge will send him to jail?

Sounds like he was already convicted of the DUI, how did this happen? My best guess is he will get released on time served. Probably he will get out after midnight of his court date.
