Legal Question in DUI Law in California

never ask optionsbreath,blood,urine,refuse

drunk in public never ask breath,blood,urine or refuse any test. searched by male cop, did not take a breath test at station,can not see police report,until day of court date.i live 300 miles away from court, can i transfer to my place of residence? thank you.

The case must be heard in the court in the county in which you were arrested. The only exception to this would be if you could convince the court that a change of venue is necessary for you to get a fair trial. Probation could be transferred to the area in which you live. An Alternative would be to hire a attorney to appear in court for you. The times I have been present in court when drunk in public cases were held, the court gave a sentence equal to the time in jail prior to the appearance in court.
