Legal Question in DUI Law in California

I owe Sacramento county 34 days of work project or home detention.I opted for the house arrest and they gave me a laundry list of things I needed to submit for the application process. For many reasons I was not able to comply with the process in the time they allotted. I could not get a phone until I paid an old balance, I needed to get a doctor to attest to my physical restrictions, I didn't have the money to go get a probation report and I don't have insurance to make an appointment with a doctor to get medical verification.

I just need more time. I'm sure a no bail bench warrant will be issued soon.

I am working on resolving these issues, I just need more time.

Will they kick my door down on a warrant sweep?

Will they give more time to comply?

I owe time on my second misdemeanor DUI, I reported for weekend time, I just need to know what are my chances of getting an extinction on my home detention so I won't have to spend any more time in an orange jumpsuit.

Thank you for your time

The time to act BEFORE your turn-in date. Discuss this with your attorney. Many judges, if they see you are swarming in earnest to get on the program, will grant an extension. If they think you waited until the last minute or are just stalling, you may end up doing jail time instead of house arrest.

This is for you and your lawyer to sort out, but do NOT wait to the last minute.
