penalty driving on suspended license

I was convicted of DUI in 2007, when i went to court, i was advised that i could get my license back. asap. per the judge. I went to the dmv and they said different. I got stopped in april of 2008 for driving without a License . I was suppose to go to court in june and i failed to appear as i was unemployed and didnt have means to pay, recently i found out that i had a warrant. what will happen when i go to court. I dont care to do any jail time. can you please advise me.

You will not necessarily go to jail if you present yourself to the court. You will more than likely go to jail if you do not present yourself and get picked up on any other charge. At that point, any sentence you will receive will only be worse.

You need to get your warrant recalled and the best way to do that is with an attorney. Afterwards, you can deal with the underlying offense.
