Legal Question in DUI Law in California

procedures for getting license back

I was convicted of a dui in California at age 20. My year suspension is up in a few months. I now live in Hawaii finishing up getting my degree. What do I have to do when that year is up?

I know my fine payments have to be current... right? But is there anything else I have to do or is the license automatically released? Since I live in hawaii now, do I still have to provide an sr-22 to california? It is also nearly impossilbe fop rme to get to Californis right now. Your help is appreciated.

After a suspension, you have to provide an SR-22 and a reissuance fee to the DMV of $125. You will also need to show proof of completion of the first offender's program as ordered by the court upon your conviction.
