Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Remove from record after 7 yrs is up

How can I get a DUI removed after the 7 years is up? I didn't attend the DUI school, do I still have to attend one to get my license back?

The people that can answer your question are at DMV. So go to DMV and ask for your license back. If you have to attend the school they'll tell you. The school normally tells you they can't take you unless the judge sends you there. Then you have to go to the court in which your case was heard, and ask the judge to send you to the traffic school. The criminal clerk will send your file up to the duty judge and he/she'll take care of it. The deputy will give you paper work to take to the school.

if you didn't comply with the terms of your probation (i.e. failed to complete the alcohol program) then you probably have a warrant out for your arrest . . .bottom line is you need help and should retain an attorney to assist you . . .this is your first concern before worrying about getting the old dui off of your record. i can help you . . .if you want to discuss this matter in more detail, please feel free to call me.
