Responsibility of passenger in dui

My daughter was a passenger in a hit and run dui accident that involved injury to another party.

At the time of the accident she was told by the driver '' leave get out of here, I will take care of it. She did leave the scene of the accident without reporting to the police or checking on the condition of the other party. The driver unknown to my daughter at the time of the accident also left and was later apprehended and arrested. Is my daughter legally responsible?

Since your daughter was the passenger and not the driver, she is not legally responsible. The driver of the car she was in was arrested, but she will not be. At worst, she's guilty of bad judgment.
