Legal Question in Education Law in California

Expelled from college for one year due to the fact that I signed out equipment and sted that a certified student would handle the equipment. I thought they would this harsh? I was not given due process and never signed any statement.

Which college was this? Most colleges have a detailed, written code of student conduct that includes procedures and due process for explusion. A college cannot simply expel a student without observing and adhering to these codes and processes. Please provide more information.
