Legal Question in Education Law in California

I recently completed my probation term for a stupid mistake i committed 2 years ago. The felony i received was not drug related, violant or possetion of any fire arm. Also, felony was reduced to a misdameanor. Next step would be to expunge this misdameanor. My goal is to attend law school and practice law or become a physical education teacher. Would there be any problems with me obtaining any sort of license in the state of california, teaching or law???? Would this conviction give me any problems in the future after expunging it????

The issue of character and moral turpitude are always concerns for the bar committee on admissions. However, the conviction is not a bar in and of itself to licensing in California. You must be prepared to demonstrate your good character notwithstanding the law violation.
