Use of school facilities by non-profit organizations
Ww are a non-profit group that provides a youth athletic program. What rights do we have to the use of public school facilities and can we be charged a rental fee if we do not require additional services?

Re: Use of school facilities by non-profit organizations
Virtually all public school districts have to allow the public to use their facilities when not in use by the district. Contact the district and they will usually have forms to fill out for use of the facilities. When I ran non-profit youth basketball leagues in the days before law, it didn't cost anything to use the gyms. For-profit organizations were, however, charged a fee.
