Legal Question in Education Law in California
My son just started his senior year of high school. The school says he did not turn in a text book from last year, so they want us to pay before he gets his senior textbooks. They are holding back his senior textbooks because I can't afford to pay. Is this legal?

This is petty. Go to your school board representative and offer to work out a payment schedule so that your son can proceed with his education.
