Legal Question in Education Law in California
I am a teacher, my principal came to me saying he would not renew my contract due to personal reasons next year. I asked to find another job within the district, I found out he was telling other principals that I don't work well with others. I have letters from my co-workers stating this is not true. I am still being released. Do I have a claim?

This does seem odd. How long have you worked in your district? Is there a local union rep. who you can approach? Please call at (805) 549-7745.
