Legal Question in Education Law in California
teachers contracts
In a private catholic school when does a teacher's contract become effective? Contracts are given to teachers who sign them and then returned to principal who signs it and returnas it to teacher. Thank You.

Re: teachers contracts
Hello!
Generally a contract becomes a valid and binding (enforcable) contract when BOTH parties (in your fact scenario) execute and deliver to eachother.
It is somewhat like a tree falling in the forest!
Oral contracts may operate differently, but in your case, binding when signed.
I hope this has been helpful
