my daughter & son-in-law are not capable of hansling money wisely what can we do to protect her inheritance

See a lawyer and have him/her set up a spendthrift trust, with a person who is competent and in whom you have confidence to act as the trustee, exercising the proper discretion in dispensing the trust after your death. (Yours is a common problem.)
