Legal Question in Education Law in California
Withholding School Records
Is it legal for an elementary school to withhold school records from another state because of dues owed. I can't get
my son in school in California because the school he was in will not sent his shot records. I am on AFDC and cannot afford the 115.00 they say he owes. If I don't get him in school I will be in trouble here in California, what can I do?

It appears your son's prior school was a private school. Call to discuss. 800-685-6950
