Legal Question in Elder Law in California
I am a 72 yr old lady who supported her 3 kids by herself when they were babies, Is there a way to take some of my ex husbands SSI after all this yrs? Is there a statue of limitation on that?

Go to the ssa.gov web site for a definitive answer on this. The issues are all there about whether you can claim a higher SSI amount based upon a husband. I do not know how if at all this would apply to ex husbands who have remarried for example. Whether you supported one or ten kids alone would not matter...as injust as that might seem.
