Legal Question in Elder Law in California
My brother is mentally ill, lives in my parents home. He has become a health concern, he does not bath, his bedroom smells like something died, he won't seek help or take his medication. My parents are elderly, he is 59 yr old. we called social services they said nothing can be done to get him removed until 62 years old. what legal sources can we use to get him committed and removed from the house. the stench is so bad. please help any legal advice to make my parents house livable.
