Legal Question in Elder Law in California
Civil Suit Case
Can I file a cross-complaint on the
plaintiff for perjury and can I bring a
third party into this for persuading the
plaintiff to lie about the chain of events.
If so are there codes I can use to back
this up?

Re: Civil Suit Case
If you're being sued, you need to talk in person with an attorney. The attorney you retain to defend the lawsuit will be able to advise you on what defenses and possible cross-complaints you might have. Your homeowners, renters, or auto insurance carrier might be able to defend negligence claims, if there are any, within the scope of your coverage.
Remember, you have 30 days or less to respond to the lawsuit from the time you received it.
