Legal Question in Elder Law in California
my father passed away 9 days ago. i went to the facility home he was at. asked " for the date my father was admitted, went to the hospital and the date he was discharged " they where giving my mom hard time and said they cant give her the dates. but when i asked the other facilities for the dates they did not gave me a hard time. us as family have all the rights to request the dates he was there

Speak with the manager of the facility and tell him/her how your mother and you were treated and that yo are entitled to the information and demand it. If they refuse, ask on what basis and under what laws or court decisions is their position supported.
