Legal Question in Elder Law in California
garanchieing of social security cheek
if I am 73 years old recieve $565.oo from social security,can childsuport garanchee this cheek if it is under poverty level?They are taking out little less then half $242.oo . the irs can garanchee ss cheek ,but not the frist $750.00 and only 15% of anything left over. this law was passed 1996. help.

you need to file an OSC or hire an attorney to do it for you. unless of course, DCSS resolves it informally. call and demand to speak to an attorney.
