Legal Question in Elder Law in California
Guardian/Conservator
My wife and I take care of my sister. The last two months now, we have received money for her care in cash. Is there a reason why the guardian would give cash? It doesn't make the guardian look accountable.

Re: Guardian/Conservator
Have you asked her why? It shouldn't make a difference when she makes her accounting to the court, but you should keep careful records of the cash you receive from her in case her accounting shows amounts different than what you received.
