hospice patient
can a police officer leave a hospice patient alone.after taking the care giver to jail .and refuse to call even hospice to let them know.

This appears to be police misconduct. If children were involved, the police would call child protective services, so why didn't they call adult protective services, the agency responsible for protecting elders from abuse?
