How to locate a missing relative
Help! this is a little confussing.. the people involed are my grandmother my aunt who is mentally ill that I will call aunt A and another aunt that I will call anunt B.. I need advise as to what agency can help in locating aunt A who I belive is the victime of elder abuse. My grandmother and aunt A lived with me for all of my life. Then when I had my baby my grandmother decided to go live with aunt B for awhile till I got back on my feet. during her short stay with aunt B my grandmother passed away leaving aunt A with aunt B. I know that aunt B is using aunt A for her social security benifets. and using those for her own use. and I know that she is also abusive to her aswell.. I have tried to keep in contact with Aunt A however, aunt B has not allowed any family members including myself to have any contact with aunt A. She has gone as far as moving and not letting anyone know were she moved to. her phone is unlisted and all her mail goes to a P.O. Box.. I have contacted Adult Protective Services and they said they can not help unless I provide an adress.. Social Security will not give me any information becuase it is confidential and the police will not help cuase to them she is not missiing.. is there anything I can do??
