Legal Question in Elder Law in California
Mom has old mobile home worth 30,000 tops in California. She paid cash for it 15 years ago, 21,000. She had credit card debt 5 years ago could no longer afford to pay.. resulted in a judgement and lien on her mobile home. Mom is 86 years old and wants to move in with daughter..she had son put on the title with her...what to do to sell mobile home to help pay for Mom's care??

You will need to arrange with the judgment creditor to pay off the lien out of the sale proceeds and have the lien released when title passes to the buyer.
