Legal Question in Elder Law in California
Pre-Paid funeral arrangements
My grandparents paid for thier funeral arrangements and burial plots some time ago. My grandfather just passed away. Now they say they owe more money. Is this the way it works?

Re: Pre-Paid funeral arrangements
it all depends on the wording/language of the agreement that was signed. if you would like me to look over the contract, if its in your possession, feel free to email me with your contact information today.

It would depend on the terms of the contract. I would be happy to review it if you contact our office.
Re: Pre-Paid funeral arrangements
Sorry to give you the same answer, but it does depend on the contract they signed. What services were promised for what amount of money? There are often additional charges to pay, even when someone has "prepaid" the burial contract, so reading it to see what it includes and excludes is important.
