Legal Question in Elder Law in California
I am taking care of an elderly man.He let my daughter use his debt card to put money($50) on her phone once to get calls from jail.She some how was able to put money on her phone 4 more times total $200.Is this theft or use without permission.

Depending on how she got the additional "money" it is a theft. She took, without permission, money from someone. If she quickly reimburses him and apologizes, he may not complain to the police, but you may be in danger of losing your job unless you can convince him that you had no knowledge she was going to steal from him and you were the one who got her to repay him.
