Legal Question in Elder Law in California
My X wife needs a Trust to protect her estate when she passes. She is a quadrapalegic and in a rest home and concerned that her house will go to medicare upon her passing instead of going to her kids. I will be eth executor and I would like to head off any trouble with Medicare

You need to contact an elder law attorney. There is an attorney in Santa Rosa I believe named Les Tillum who specializes in this and did a radio talk program on KGO up until a few months ago when they changed format. You can look his name up on the Ca. State Bar website.
